   Hi families and students!

      My name is Taryn O’Mara and I am so excited to be your child’s kindergarten teacher this year.  I graduated from Monmouth University with a dual certification in elementary education and special education as well as a degree in history.  I earned my Master’s Degree in Literacy from Montclair State University and am a licensed reading specialist.  This is my seventh year teaching here at School 3 and I cannot be more excited to get to know my students and their families.

      The first year of school is always exciting as we watch the students become familiar with friends and establish new routines. I am confident that together we can help your child have a successful kindergarten experience!
