I am very excited to be your child’s preschool teacher for the 2016-2017 school year at School #3!
Here is a little information about myself so you can get to know me better! Prior to teaching preschool in a special education setting for the past 7 years, I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood/Special Education from Seton Hall University in 2009. Since then, I have also earned a Master’s Degree in Education. I have certifications in Special Education, Preschool-3rd Grade, and K-5th Grade. I have a double major in Social & Behavioral Sciences and a Minor Degree in Psychology. I also work for NJ State Early Intervention part-time. I live with my husband Rich, my 9 month old daughter Sophia Bella, and my little Yorkie Hunter! In my spare time, I love to spend time with my family, be outdoors during all the seasons, cook new recipes, and interior designing!
In our full day preschool program, I am very lucky to work collaboratively with our school principal, great paraprofessionals, a behaviorist, multiple therapists, as well as caseworkers that will be alongside of me as a team helping your child meet their goals and have a successful school year!
Please know that I believe we are partners in your child’s education and I encourage you to join me in making school a great experience and helping your child reach their highest level of achievement!
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me. You can reach me through email, on the school’s phone line, or in person at a scheduled time.
