My name is Mrs. Carol Ann Bono and I have been an educator for over 17 years. I am a Belleville resident for over 25 years now and have two sets of twins that have attended and graduated Belleville High School. I have a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and Sociology. I also have a Teacher of Students with Disabilities Certificate. I am currently enrolled in Bloomfield College to achieve a Masters degree in Special Education. I look forward to a great year!

1. Follow directions the first time they are given.
2. Remain seated unless given permission to leave.
3. Show kindness to others.
4. Raise your hand if you need the teacher's attention.
5. Maintain a quiet learning environment.
All students can move from "Ready To Learn" to "Super Student" daily to earn Belleville Bucks.
Belleville Bucks!--Students can earn Belleville Bucks to purchase items from our class Belleville Buck Store.
Participation in “Fun Friday” which is reserved for the last 30 minutes of each Friday. The class participates in fun and cooperative learning activities in which there is always an educational purpose.
Students will receive three warnings.
One warning : Student will move from "Ready to Learn" to "Think About It".
Second warning: Student will move from "Think About It" to "Parent/Guardian Contact"- A note sent home Note will require a parent/guardian signature.
Third warning: Student's parent/guardian will receive an email/phone call and time off fun Friday. Parents/Guardians may be required to come to school for a meeting with the teacher and principal.
Please check you child's folder/online each night.
When a student does not submit an assignment, the student will:
1. Receive a zero in the online grade book.
2. Complete the assignment during daily RISE time.
When (3) zeros accumulate in a particular subject area, (1) point will be deducted from his marking period average. Homework should be completed each night. Parents/Guardians may write out daily homework assignments only if the student either copies or writes over text/writing. No homework on Fridays!
Please notify the office as soon as possible if your child will not be in school. I can prepare and gather materials your child missed for the day.
School Three is Bully Free! It's the law! If an issue should arise, all parties' parents will be notified by the principal immediately.
Help! Talk to your kids about bullying. What is acceptable behavior? Please review the School Three Code of Conduct. Be Safe. Be Respectful. And Be Responsible!
As a school, we practice fire drills, lock down drills, and evacuation drills regularly. Your emergency information that you provide the school is what we refer to. Please inform the school if your address, phone number. or emergency contact information changes at any time.
Weekly assessments will be sent home every Friday or Monday. Please sign and return every assessment 70% and below the following day.
