Mrs. Van Dyke's Self-Contained Primary ABA Class
I am very excited to be your child’s teacher this year! Prior to teaching special education, I have earned a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education, with a subject major in history, from Caldwell College. I have also earned a master’s degree in Special Education and my Teacher of Students with Disabilities certification from Felician University. I have been teaching and working with students with various learning and developmental disabilities for the past 11 years. I have worked in both public and private schools, and I have worked in various positions within the classroom. This is my 5th year teaching here at School #3.
I am very lucky to work collaboratively with our school principal, great paraprofessionals, a behaviorist, multiple therapists and caseworkers that will be alongside me as a team helping your child to meet their goals and have a successful school year!
Please know that I believe we are partners in your child’s education and I encourage you to join me in making school a great experience and helping your child reach their highest level of achievement! If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me. My email is [email protected]
